Trans-Dapt Oil Filter Adapter Conversion Kit, Canister to Screw-On Style PH8A Filter
Engine oil filter adapter conversion kit for 1967 Camaro models. This Trans-Dapt kit converts the bolt-on, can-type filter to a full-flow easy spin-on filter. Fits Chevrolet 1957 - 1967 Small Block and Big Block 1965 - 1967. Will also fit 1967 - 1992 Camaro with small block and big block engines equipped with an older Chevy engine with canister style oil filter. Use this to allow the use of newer style screw on oil filters on older Chevy engines. Fits both Big Block and Small Block 56 - 67 Chevy engines.
This version you can only use a PH-8A or equivalent Spin-on Oil Filter that has a built-in oil bypass valve. A Fram style PH-8A oil filter must be used with this adapter. Follow manufacturerâ„¢s instructions carefully when installing any spin-on element to this adapter.

This new design that does not require the use of the original 1957-1967 oil-bypass valve. All you need is this new adapter and a PH-8A spin-on oil filter!
Fits 57-67 Chevy Big Block or Small Block. PH8A Oil Filter Required
Note: Comes with 3/4 in.-16 thread for oil filter. Also comes with w/ 1/4 in. bolts to mount to block.
