1970 - 1976 Horn Cap Kit Mounting Contact Set, 4-Bar Style
New horn button contact set for your Chevelle or Nova. Works great for all models with the four bar style steering wheel. Includes; contact spring, plunger, wedge bushing, contact plate, mounting cup, three prong plastic bushing, and mounting screws. Awesome set at an awesome price. Please note that some four bar wheels have the off white circular plastic ring filler made into the wheel. If your wheel has this just, disregard the white circular ring. That piece is what your contact plate lays in. Basically from like 1975 on GM made that piece into the steering wheel tooling. This is a great kit at a great price!
***Please Note ~ The horn contact spring, plunger, and bushing included in this kit is designed for non tooth tab style installation. If the horn contact pipe coming out of the top of your steering column has the "J" or "Tooth Tab" cut out design you will need to use STE-52 type spring, plunger, and "Tooth Tab" pin for proper installation. Check the cylinder pipe coming out of the top of your steering column so you can make sure you have everything you need.
