1968 - 1977 Correct Functional Air Cleaner Breather Base Vacuum Thermal Sensor
This
new air inlet thermal vacuum sensor comes black with GM AC logo like
original. The vacuum supply for this sensor is a straight nipple at the
left front of the intake. The other sensor port goes and tees off to the
vacuum actuators on the air clearer or pan. This will replaces original
GM part # 6484242 perfectly.
DESCRIPTION: THIS IS THE COLD START
SENSOR USUALLY MOUNTED ON THE AIR CLEANER BASE. IT REGULATES THE AMOUNT
OF EXHAUST MANIFOLD PRE-HEATED AIR ALLOWED TO THE ENGINE DURING WARM-UP
