1968 - 1975 Nova Ridetech Rear End & Axle Kit, OE Width
Upgrade your 1968 - 1975 Nova with a Ridetech Ford 9 Rear Axle Housing. Designed for newer Ridetech 4-Link systems (with angled upper bars), housings come pre-welded with 4-Link and sway bar brackets for a hassle-free bolt-in installation.
Built to handle serious torque, this 9 housing features a webbed center section with internal gussets, 1/4 wall 3 diameter tubes, and billet steel flanges (New Style Big Bearing / Torino). The pinion is offset 1/2" and the axle flange 2 1/2", with stock and narrowed widths available for mini-tub applications.
Housing includes a drain plug, jack pad, and Grade 8 T-bolt hardware, plus pre-installed 3rd member studs. Available in Black powder-coat or raw finish to suit various build stages.
31-spline axles are heat-treated 1541H alloy, with a 5 x 4 3/4" bolt pattern and Grade 8 1/2"-20 x 2 wheel studs. Timken SET20 bearings are pressed on and include bearing retaining plates.
*Optional 3rd Members feature a Yukon nodular iron case, aluminum Daytona pinion support, 1350 billet steel yoke, Timken bearings, and an Eaton Trutrac differential for superior traction and handling.
