New automatic shifter inner rod for your 68 - 72 Nova. Installs inside the chrome handle and allows shifter to lock and operate as original. The barbed top end that mates to the black plastic shift button, and the bottom tang are both hardened for long use. Much better design than the factory piece. Made from a new more durable Delrin material. Designed and produced in the USA!
