All original assembly line and all reproduction 3 spoke wheels like this STE-79 wheel were made of plastic with a simulated woodgrain finish. They have a steel inner ring core with a plastic outer. This reproduction wheel is a great match to what would have come in your car from 1967 or 1968. The woodgrain wheel was an option and could be found in any model, Base or Super sport.
