BBC Exhaust Manifold Heat Riser Assembly, Big Block

New correct design pre-heat riser for your Chevelle or Nova. Exact fit for all Big Block models with exhaust manifolds. This heat riser valve is mounted between the exhaust manifold and your head pipe. It has an internal flapper that is always closed and when your engine gets to operating temperature the flap opens. Installs on the Right Hand, passenger side manifold only.

Used to hasten the warm-up of a cold engine. Malfunctioning or frozen valves can cause loss of power or exhaust manifold damage. Helps your engine warm up for proper operation!
